Two Dogs, One Lifelong Love
Meetcosmos was born from a love that lasted over a decade.
Our founder, Sissi, shared her life with two Chow Chows — Leo and Nina. They were her first “family” as an adult, walking beside her through life’s early struggles, dreams, and milestones.
Twelve years ago, when Leo and Nina passed away, life didn’t stop — but it felt quieter, emptier, and a little less colorful. Sissi carried that sense of loss for many years, always looking for a way to keep their presence close — not as sadness, but as warmth.
After losing Leo and Nina, Sissi wanted to create a keepsake to honor them. That was her first time trying pet wool-felting, and it was then that she met her teacher and began learning this craft.
During the process, she made a small sculpture that unexpectedly captured Leo’s gentle gaze. Her hands trembled — not from technique, but from the feeling of seeing him again.
That moment sparked something inside her: if love can be felt again through hands, maybe it can also be shared with others. And that’s how Meetcosmos began.
Why “Meetcosmos”?
Every pet is its own little universe — full of joy, personality, loyalty, and the small moments only their humans understand.
When a pet passes, that universe doesn’t disappear; it simply moves to a place we can no longer see — but we can still feel it.
Meetcosmos means “a place to meet their universe again.”
